Former Midwestern State letterman Dean Barrett returns for his sixth season as an assistant men's and women's tennis coach on Scott Linn's staff in 2019-20.
Barrett brings a vast array of experience to the Mustangs, serving most recently as the long-time Director of Tennis at the Wichita Falls Country Club from 1984-2002.
He also served as the assistant pro at the Amarillo Country Club from 1980-83 before taking over the top professional position at the Rose Park Tennis Center in Abilene in 1983-84.
Playing Career
Barrett was a four-year letterwinner at Midwestern State from 1975-78 under coaches Howard Patterson and Lauren Wood, earning a bachelor's degree in 1979.
Personal
Barrett started a real estate career in 2002 and is co-owner of ReMax Wichita Falls.
