Collin Cunning enters his second season as a graduate assistant coach at Midwestern State.

As goalkeeper coach, Cunning mentored two-time Daktronics All-American Raul Herrera in 2010 while helping the Mustangs to the NCAA Division II Final Four.

Herrera ranked second in the nation with a 0.552 goals against average as MSU ranked third in NCAA Division II in team goals against average and 10th in shutout percentage.

Cunning enjoyed a solid collegiate career at New Jersey Institute of Technology where he garnered All-Atlantic Soccer Conference second-team honors at goalkeeper as a sophomore in 2005.

He pursued a professional career touring Portugal, Spain and Ireland from 2008-10 before making the move to Midwestern State.

Cunning earned a Bachelors of Environmental Science degree with honors from NJIT in 2008.
