At Fort Elliott High School
a four-year letter winner for coach Ray Turpen at Fort Elliott High School in Briscoe, Texas... a two-time UIL Texas Class A All-State performer and twice garnered first-team all-region honors... won 2021 UIL Class A individual championship as a senior, firing scores of 72 and 75 for a 5-over 147 at Kingsland Lighthouse Country Club... won title by six strokes over current MSU teammate Seth Bearden of Crowell High School... claimed 2021 Region I-A individual title by 18 strokes after carding scores of 74 and 76 for a 6-over 150 at Lubbock's Lake Ridge Country Club as a senior... finished third in the 2018 UIL Class A Championship as a freshman, carding scores of 77 and 81 for a 16-over 158 at Austin Lions Golf Course... finished as runner-up to Bearden in the 2018 Region I-A Championship, carding scores of 75 and 79 for a 10-over 154 at Lubbock's Lake Ridge Golf Course... missed sophomore golf season due to injury before his junior campaign was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic... returned to golf and won all six of his tournaments during senior season including an individual state title... successful junior golfer claimed wins at the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour's (OJGT) Lake Hefner Fall Shootout, the Top of Texas Junior Golf Tournament, and the North Texas PGA event at the Pampa Country Club -- all in 2018...
