Jon Trilli enters his fourth season as an assistant coach at Midwestern State in 2014-15 after earning three letters helping the Mustangs to consecutive NCAA Division II Elite Eight appearances in 2010 and 2011.
The talented young coach possesses a strong foundation for the game of basketball with solid roots at MSU. His father, Vic, served as a graduate assistant from 1976-78 at MSU before becoming a full-time assistant for the legendary Dr. Gerald Stockton from 1978-81 then moved on to enjoy a notable collegiate coaching career of his own. He currenlty serves as the athletic director at Newman (Kan.).
