earned All-Lone Star Conference second-team honors for second straight season... played in all of MSU's 11 games making three starts at running back... led LSC and ranked 17th in NCAA Division II with 16 rushing touchdowns... was ninth in the LSC with 722 rushing yards and was ninth in rushing yards per game at 65.6... second in the LSC and 22nd nationally averaging 6.45 yards per carry... second on the team running for 733 yards on 112 carries with 16 touchdowns... became seventh rusher in program history to top the 2,000-yard mark finishing the campaign with 2,055 career rushing yards... needed just seven carries to rush for a season-best 136 yards and three touchdowns while catching two passes for 41 yards in a season opening 53-6 win over Quincy (Ill.) (8/31)... ran for 133 yards on 19 carries with three touchdowns including a 65-yard scoring run in a 47-42 win over No. 2 Texas A&M-Commerce (10/7)... ran for 95 yards on 12 carries with two scores in a 45-42 overtime win over Tarleton State (11/4)... rushed for 84 yards on seven carries with a 62-yard TD run in a 66-8 rout of UT Permian Basin (10/28)... scored touchdowns in seven of first eight games including multiple scores in five games...

Sophomore (2016)

named an All-Lone Star Conference second-team performer... played in each of MSU's 11 games making nine starts at tailback... led LSC in scoring and was 17th in NCAA Division II with 114 points per game... led conference and was 13th nationally with 19 total touchdowns... led LSC and was sixth in NCAA Division II with 19 rushing touchdowns... ranked fifth in the league and 100th nationally rushing for 745 yards on 148 carries with 19 touchdowns... average 5.0 yards per carry... his 19 rushing touchdowns were tied for the second most in a single season in school history behind Keidrick Jackson (21 in 2012) and tied with Daniel Polk (19 in 2007)... rushed for touchdowns in nine of 11 games producing three scores against Truman State (9/3), Texas A&M-Kingsville (9/17) and Western New Mexico (10/1)... rushed for 100-or-more yards on two occasions including a season-high 103 yards on 18 carries with three TDs in a 43-22 win at Western New Mexico (10/1)... ran for 101 yards on 15 carries and three touchdowns in a 32-30 win at Texas A&M-Kingsville (9/17)... needed just five carries to finish with 82 yards and two touchdowns in a 76-21 rout of UT-Permian Basin (10/29)... rushed for 86 yards on 14 carries with two touchdowns in a 26-25 win at No. 4 Texas A&M-Commerce (10/8)...

earned LSC Freshman of the Year honors while gaining All-LSC honorable mention as a true freshman... played in each of MSU's 12 games making five starts at running back... led MSU in rushing with 588 yards on 104 carries with six touchdowns averaging 5.7 yards per carry... earned LSC Offensive Player of the Week accolades running for 190 yards and two touchdowns including an 84-yard TD run in a 24-17 win over West Texas A&M (10/10)... the 84-yard touchdown run against West Texas A&M ranked as the sixth longest in program history... ran for 83 yards on 15 carries with a touchdown in first collegiate start -- a 28-24 win over Eastern New Mexico in the Lone Star Football Festival at AT&T Stadium (9/19)... accounted for 73 yards of total offense with 45 yards on 16 carries while catching two passes for 28 yards in a 35-10 rout of No. 10 Humboldt State (Calif.) (10/17)... rushed for 49 yards on 10 carries in collegiate debut against Truman State (9/5)...

At Monterey High School

a three-year letter winner and two-year starter at running back for coach Wayne Hutchinson at Monterey High School in Lubbock, Texas... rushed for 2,143 yards and 29 touchdowns including nine 100-yard rushing performances as a senior in 2014 to earn APSE Class 6A All-State honorable mention... also named a first-team All-District 2-6A performer leading Monterey High to a Region I-6A, Division II Area finalist showing as a senior... earned Built Ford Tough Player of the Week after rushing for 325 yards and six touchdowns in a 77-59 win over Amarillo Caprock... garnered APSE Class 4A All-State honorable mention as a junior in 2013 when he also earned All-District 4-4A first-team accolades while helping the Plainsmen to a Region I-4A, Division I bi-district playoff showing... earned three basketball letters playing a forward position... competed in track & field for three seasons...
