a three-year standout at running back for coach Todd Moebes at Cooper High School in Abilene, Texas... accounted for 4,411 yards of total offense and 70 touchdowns during prep career including 3,839 rushing yards with 63 touchdowns and 16 100-yard performances with 7.4 career yards per carry average... had 41 career receptions for 572 yards and seven touchdowns... enjoyed stellar senior campaign earning Class 5A All-State honors from the Associated Press Sports Editors (first team), Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Writers' Association (TSWA) (second team) and the Padilla Poll (second team)... ran for 2,093 yards and 36 touchdowns as a senior with 10 100-yard efforts while averaging 7.6 yards per carry... the All-District 4-5A first-team performer also caught 26 passes for 416 yards and four TDs while leading the Cougars to the Region I-5A-II semifinals with a 9-4 record... set school record with seven touchdowns in a 49-35 win over Abilene High including 259 rushing yards with six TDs and made three receptions for 73 yards and another score... gained first-team All-District 4-5A honors as a junior helping Cooper High to a district co-championship and a trip to the third round of the UIL Class 5A playoffs... ran for 859 yards with 16 touchdowns, three 100-yard performances and a 6.9 yards-per-carry average in 2016... tapped District 4-5A Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore in 2015 after running for 887 yards and 11 touchdowns with three 100-yard efforts and a 7.4 yards-per-carry average... track standout boasts personal bests of 11.48 in the 100-meter dash and a 24.01 in the 200... part of the 4x100- and 4x200-meter relay teams...
