a four-year letter winner for coach Robby Clark at Palestine (Texas) High School... a three-time all-district first-team utility player gaining the honor as a freshman, junior and senior... garnered second-team All-District 9-4A honors as a punter and wide receiver as a sophomore... competed as a quarterback, wide receiver and punter for the Wildcats... enjoyed breakout campaign as a junior in 2017 throwing for 1,494 yards and 10 touchdowns, while rushing for 610 yards and seven more TDs... posted a school single-game record of 464 passing yards during junior season while also running for at 100 yards in four games... passed for 593 yards and six touchdowns as a senior in 2018 and also caugh six passes for 69 yards a touchdown... made 20 receptions for 288 yards and two touchdowns as a sophomore in 2016... also lettered three times in basketball and twice as a center fielder in baseball... competed in the 100-meter dash and 4x100-meter relay during track season... served in the PHS Student Council...
