At Midwestern State

Senior (2009)

• started each of MSU's 12 games at defensive end.
• finished fifth on the squad with 49 tackles including seven tackles, 4 1/2 sacks, 11 quarterback hurries, four pass breakups, a forced fumble and a blocked kick.
• made season-high seven tackles with a quarterback hurry on Sep. 26 at Angelo State.
• recorded two sacks and added pass breakup in a 50-17 win on Oct. 31 at Eastern New Mexico.
• had three tackles and three quarterback hurries in a 31-19 victory over West Texas A&M on Oct. 3.
• finished career second on MSU's all-time sack list with 15 and eighth with 23 career tackles for loss.

Junior (2008)

• started each of Midwestern's 10 games at defensive end.
• was seventh on team and topped defensive linemen with 36 tackles including 13 solo stops, five sacks and eight for loss.
• led team with 10 quarterback hurries.
• recovered two fumbles and forced another.
• ranked 13th in the Lone Star Conference with 0.50 sacks per game.
• notched two sacks and added a quarterback hurry against Southeastern Oklahoma on Sep. 6, 2008 at Memorial Stadium.
• had season-high eight tackles and was in on a sack with two quarterback hurries at Northeastern State on Sep. 13, 2008.
• made five tackles including 1.5 sacks and three tackles for loss to go aloing with a forced fumble, a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup against Eastern New Mexico on Nov. 1, 2008.

Sophomore (2007)

• garnered All-Lone Star Conference South Division honorable mention after making 22 tackles (nine solo) incluing 6.5 tackles for loss and four sacks.
• recorded a pass break up, forced a fumble and was credited with three quarterback hurries.
• had a season-high four tackles and a sack at Southeastern Oklahoma on Oct. 27, 2007.

Honors and Awards

Redshirt Freshman (2006)

• recorded 15 tackles (3 solo) including 1.5 sacks.
• had a season-high five tackles at Northeastern State on Sep. 16, 2006.

Freshman (2005)

• served redshirt season.

At Rider High School

• a first-team All-District 5-4A selection at defensive end for coach Scott Ponder at Rider High School in Wichita Falls, Texas.
• named to Times Record News Red River 22 Team after senior season of 2004.
• a two-year starter, he helped the Raiders to a bi-district championship as a junior in 2003 then to the Region I-4A finals as a senior in 2004.
