At Lincoln High School
two-year starter at wide receiver, safety and kicker for coach John Towels at Lincoln High School in Dallas... tabbed the District 4-4A Utility Player of the Year as a senior in 2015 playing multiple positions... completed 17-of-43 passes for 281 yards and three touchdowns; rushed for 416 yards on 57 carries with five TDs and caught six passes for 197 yards and two scores as a senior to be named a US All-American and all-state honorable mention selection... also spent time on special teams as a punter and kicker... a first-team All-District 4-4A performer at wide receiver while helping the Tigers to a bi-district postseason showing as a junior in 2014... made 20 receptions for 400 yards and four touchdowns during junior campaign... a four-sport standout that earned second-team All-District 11-4A accolades as an outfielder in baseball as a junior in the spring of 2015... earned one letter in basketball and track and field... member of the National Honor Society...
