a three-year starter at linebacker for coach Lon Holbrook at Birdville High School in Hurst, Texas... helped Hawks to the UIL Texas Class 5A playoffs in each of his three seasons on varsity... earned All-District 4-5A Division I first-team honors at inside linebacker as a unanimous selection as a senior in 2019... key member of BHS' Region I-5A Division I semifinalist squad making 142 tackles with 16 stops for loss, four sacks and three forced fumbles... a first-team All-District 4-5A Division I pick at inside linebacker as a junior in 2018 leading the Hawks to the Class 5A state quarterfinals... amassed 144 tackles with four sacks and five pass defenses during junior campaign... a first-team All-District 8-5A selection at inside linebacker as a sophomore in 2017 as Birdville High reached the regional round of the playoffs...Â
