At Midwestern State

Senior (2009)

• garnered second-team Daktronics All-America honors after starting each of MSU's 12 games at right cornerback.
• helped Mustangs to first Lone Star Conference championship and to the NCAA Division II postseason.
• made 49 tackles with three tackles for loss and two sacks.
• made four interceptions and recorded seven pass breakups.
• notched season-high nine tackles on Sep. 26 at Angelo State then again on Oct. 10 at Tarleton State.
• returned interception 32 yards for a touchdown in a 43-16 win over Central Oklahoma on Oct. 24 at Memorial Stadium.
• returned a pick 56 yards and made three stops in a 50-17 victory on Oct. 31 at Eastern New Mexico.
• also notched interceptions against Incarnate Word and West Texas A&M.

• returned two interceptions for 48 yards at Texas A&M-Kingsville on Oct. 18, 2008.
• made season-high six tackles at Central Oklahoma on Oct. 25, 2008 then matched the total at Abilene Christian on Nov. 8, 2008.
• made five tackles and had three pass breakups against Eastern New Mexico on Nov. 1, 2008.

Sophomore (2006)

• earned All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference Honorable Mention.
• made 45 tackles (41 solo) with nine interceptions.
• had 116 interception return yards with two touchdowns.

• had one interception as a true freshman.

At Klein Forest High School

• earned first-team all-district honors as a senior when he recorded 32 tackles, four interceptions and had three pass breakups for coach Leo Barker at Klein (Texas) Forest High School.
• lettered one season as a center fielder in baseball.
