Sophomore (2019)
earned All-Lone Star Conference honorable mention... competed in eight games with seven starts at right defensive end... missed three games due to injury... tied for fourth on the squad finishing campaign with 49 tackles including 25 solo stops, 13.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, six quarterback hurries and two forced fumbles... ranked second in the LSC with 1.67 tackles for loss per game, second with 0.88 quarterback sacks per game and was 18th averaging 6.1 tackles per game... his seven sacks are tied for the seventh most for an MSU player in a single season, while the 73 lost yards from the sacks are the second most in program annals... his 13.5 tackles for loss fell just below the Top 10 which begins at 14... earned LSC Defensive Player of the Week honors opening the season with a seven-tackle effort with 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks to help the Mustangs to a 33-7 win over FCS Northwestern State (9/7)... accounted for nine tackles with three tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks while forcing a fumble which led to a score in a 28-27 win at Lindenwood (9/14)... posted eight tackles including a pair of stops for loss in a 14-8 win over UT Permian Basin (9/21)... finished with four tackles -- three for loss with two sacks for a loss of 32 yards -- before suffering an injury at Angelo State (9/28)... made six tackles with a sack in a 28-13 win over Western New Mexico (11/9)... made nine tackles with one for loss in season finale at West Texas A&M (11/16)...
Freshman (2018)
played in seven games as a reserve defensive end... totaled nine tackles including five solo stops, 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack... had a sack in collegiate debut - a 55-12 win over Humboldt State (9/1)... made season-high three tackles including two for loss in a 48-35 win at Western New Mexico (11/3)... made a tackle for loss in 69-14 win at Texas A&M-Kingsville (10/13)...
At Cypress Ridge High School
a two-year starter at defensive end for coach Gary Thiebaud at Cypress Ridge High School... enjoyed breakout junior campaign as the District 17-6A Defensive Newcomer of the Year helping the Class 6A-II state quarterfinalist Rams to an 11-3 record... amassed 59 tackles including 38 solo stops with 21.5 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks, 12 quarterback hurries and three fumble recoveries during junior campaign of 2016... had 42 tackles with 25 solo stops, 9.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in final prep season of 2017...
