- served redshirt season.
- made four tackles and was in on a sack to help Maroon to a 38-31 win over Gold in the 2016 Maroon vs. Gold Spring Game.

At The Brook Hill School
- a mutliple-sport standout at The Brook Hill School in Bullard, Texas.
- a four-year letter winner and three-year starter for coach Bobby Brasher on the gridiron splitting time between linebacker, defensive end, tight end and halfback.
- accounted for 64 tackles including six sacks and made an interception as a senior 2014 to earn TAPPS Division II All-State first-team honors and was also a District 2 Divison II first-team performer.
- helped The Guard to a district and region title as a senior.
- a TAPPS Class 4A All-State honorable mention in track hoisting the shot put 49 feet and 2 1/2 inches.
