a two-year letter winner for coach Mike DeWitt at Coppell (Texas) High School... an All-District 6-6A second-team selection at cornerback helping the Cowboys to a UIL Texas playoff appearance as a senior in 2018... made 48 tackles including 33 solo stops, two tackles for loss and four pass breakups... returned an interception 44 yards for lone prep touchdown... helped CHS to an 11-2 overall record and a district title as a junior in 2017 as the Cowboys advanced to teh Region II-6A semifinals... also competed as a sprinter on the Coppell High track & field team... part of school record setting squads in the in the 4x200- and 4x400-meter relays...
