• appeared in six games on special teams and as a reserve in the secondary.
• accounted for two tackles and a pair of quarterback hurries.
• had a tackle and two quarterback hurries against Eastern New Mexico on Nov. 1, 2008 at Memorial Stadium.

Redshirt Freshman (2007)

• appeared in six games as a redshirt freshman.
• recorded one tackle at Adams State on Aug. 25, 2007 and was in on a tackle for loss against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Oct. 20, 2007.

Freshman (2006)

• served redshirt season.

At Garland High School

• a three-time all-district selection at strong safety for coach Jeff Jordan at Garland (Texas) High School where he helped the Owls to an area championship.
• recorded 75 tackles and three interceptions as a senior in 2005.
