At Midwestern State

Junior (2013)

- started the nine games he played on the season at wide receiver. Also served the place kick holder.
- Mustangs leading receiver with 28 catches for 363 yards, averaging 13.0 yards a reception and 40.3 yards a game.
- MSU's leading touchdown receiver with four scoring catches.
- had his best game in the season opener against Tarleton State in the Lone Star Football Festival at AT&T Stadium with eight catches for 102 yards, including MSU's final score on a 12-yard catch.  Had his first of two season-long 30-yard grabs in the game.
- caught four passes for 61 yards with touchdowns of 15 and 13 yards at Angelo State.

Sophomore (2012)
- moved to receiver and played eight games at that position. Did appear in all 11 games as the place kick holder.
- ranked sixth on team in receiving with seven catches for 86 yards and a touchdown.
- posted four catches for 55 yards against Incarnate Word, including a 23-yard touchdown grab -- his season best.
- caught two passes for 24 yards with a long of 16 at West Alabama.

Redshirt Freshman (2011)
-played in five games for the Mustangs as a reserve quarterback.
-completed 7-of-15 passes for 71 yards with no interceptions.
-rushed 11 times for 48 yards with a touchdown.
-top rushing game came on Oct. 15, 2011 in MSU's 68-20 win at Angelo State where he carried five times for 50 yards including an 11-yard touchdown run and his season-long of 28 yards.
-completed 3-of-5 passes for 40 yards on Oct. 1, 2011 at Incarnate Word, including his season-long of 25 yards.
-made his collegiate debut in the season opener on Sept. 10, 2011 at Missouri S&T.


Freshman (2010)
-served redshirt season.


At Rockdale High School

-a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter at quarterback, wide receiver and punter for coach Jeff Miller at Rockdale (Texas) High School.
-earned second-team All-District 24-3A honors at quarterback as a senior in 2009 passing for 1,558 yards and 13 touchdowns.
-enjoyed a distinguished prep career at wide receiver prior to making the move to QB as he set school career records with 73 receptions for 1,391 yards and 22 touchdowns earning all-district accolades following sophomore and junior campaigns.
-earned Associated Press All-State honorable mention in 2008 and was an All-Brazos Valley selection the same season.
-named MVP quarterback at the National Underclassman Combine as a freshman then earned the same honor as a wide receiver as a sophomore.
-candidate for Wendy's Heisman Award as a senior.
-participated in the Army All American Combine following junior season.
-earned three baseball letters earning all-district honors in center field as a junior then as a catcher his senior season.
-earned two varsity tennis letters as a freshman and senior helping RHS earned a mixed doubles district title.
-member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and FFA at Rockdale High.
