a four-year starter for coach Pete Hart at Alvord (Texas) High School... rushed for 4,643 yards and 60 touchdowns during stellar prep career while catching 54 passes for 693 yards and 11 more TDs... earned Associated Press Sports Editors and Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sportswriters' Association Class 2A All-State honorable mention as a senior in 2014 after being named District 5-2A Offensive MVP... led AHS to an Area Round appearance in the 2014 UIL state playoffs after running for 1,841 yards and 26 touchdowns including seven 100-yard games... earned All-District 5-2A first-team honors as a running back, defensive back and punter as a junior in 2013 when he rushed for 1,155 yards and 16 TDs... garnered All-District 5-2A first-team honors as a running back, defensive back and punter for the first of two consecutive years as a sophomore in 2012 running for 1,085 yards and 13 touchdowns... named a second-team All-District 3-2A performer at running back as a freshman... a standout on the basketball court earning all-district acclaim as a sophomore, junior and senior... a Texas High School Coaches' Association Academic All-State second-team selection in football as a senior in 2014...
