Biography

At Midwestern State

Senior (2009)

  • appeared in seven games as a reserve defensive back.
  • finished season with 10 tackles, two interceptions and a blocked kick.
  • had season-high four tackles and returned an interception for 39 yards in MSU's 52-3 win over Northeastern State on Sep. 12.
  • tallied three stops in a 49-7 win on Sep. 19 at Incarnate Word.
  • blocked punt against New Mexico Highlands resulted in a touchdown.

Junior (2008)

  • appeared in four games on special teams and as a reserve in the secondary.
  • made three tackles including one solo stop.
  • had season-high two tackles against Eastern New Mexico on Nov. 1, 2008.

Sophomore (2007)

  • served as squadman.

Redshirt Freshman (2006)

  • appeared in three games as a reserve in the secondary.
  • made two tackles including a solo stop.
  • recorded a tackle against East Central (Okla.) on Sep. 23, 2006 and versus Angelo State on Sep. 30, 2006.

At Copperas Cove High School

  • a second-team all-district selection at cornerback as a senior for coach Jack Welch at Copperas Cove (Texas) High School where he helped the Bulldawgs to a district championship in 2004.
  • recorded 62 tackles, forced a fumble and recovered two others while blocking four kicks during his senior season.
