played in each of MSU's 11 games as a reserve linebacker... finished season with 35 tackles including 16 solo stops, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack and a pass breakup... had season-high six tackles in a 66-8 win at UT Permian Basin (10/28)... recorded four tackles against Western New Mexico (9/30), Texas A&M-Commerce (10/7), Angelo State (10/14) and Eastern New Mexico (11/11)... made three tackles and broke up a pass in a 45-3 win over West Texas A&M (10/21)...
Redshirt Freshman (2016)

a three-year letter winner and two-year starter at linebacker and defensive end for coach John King at Longview (Texas) High School... garnered Texas Class 5A All-State honorable mention from the Associated Press Sports Editors (APSE) as a senior in 2014... tabbed District 15-5A Defensive MVP after posting 78 tackles including 44 solo stops with two sacks and seven tackles for loss during the 2014 regular season... led Lobos to a District 15-5A championship and a 9-3 overall record on the way to the Region II-5A Area finals in 2014... earned All-District 12-5A second-team honors as a junior in 2013 helping LHS to a league title and an area championship on the way to an 11-2 overall mark...
