At Belton High School

a two-year starter at linebacker for coach Sam Skidmore at Belton (Texas) High School... amassed 192 tackles for average of 8.7 stops per game as a two-year varsity letter winner... earned All-District 12-6A second-team honors as an inside linebacker as a senior in 2018 helping the Tigers to a 7-4 record advancing to the UIL Class 6A playoffs... made 128 tackles including 83 solo stops, seven tackles for loss, one sack and three quarterback hurries as a senior to go along with two pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery...helped BHS to a bi-district playoff showing in his first season on varsity as a junior in 2017 making 68 tackles with 42 solo stops, three tackles for loss, an interception, three pass breakups and three fumble recoveries... also served as the squad's deep snapper... member of the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at Belton High...
