played in each of MSU's 11 games serving as a kickoff specialist and was primary place kicker at start of season... averaged 53.9 yards on 48 kickoffs with 15 touchbacks.. played a key role in Mustangs' kickoff return defense which limited opponents to 17.03 yards per return ranking seventh in NCAA Division II and third in the Lone Star Conference... connected on 2-of-4 field goal attempts with a long of 28 yards... a perfect 8-for-8 on point-after attempts... earned LSC Special Teams Player of the Week honors after connected on two field goals and was 2-for-2 on PATs in a 33-7 win over FCS Northwestern State (9/7)...
Junior (2018)
played in each of MSU Texas' 10 games as the primary kicker throughout much of the season... team's second leading scorer with 55 points... connected on 4-of-9 field goal attempts with a long of 46 yards against Eastern New Mexico (9/29)... converted 43-of-44 point-after attempts... averaged 54.9 yards on 52 kickoffs with 24 touchbacks... boasted a touchback rate of 46.1 percent...
Sophomore (2017)
competed in eight games handing all of MSU's place kicking duties... second on team in scoring with 55 points... connected on 5-of-6 field goals with a long of 30 yards in a 53-6 win over Quincy (Ill.) in the season opener (8/31)... connected on a 21-yard field goal to lift MSU to a 45-42 overtime win against Tarleton State (11/4)... was 40-of-43 (93 percent) on point-after attempts... recorded touchbacks on 11 of 52 kickoffs (21.2 percent) for a 50.8-yard average... had campaign-best three touchbacks against West Texas A&M (10/21), Tarleton State (11/4) and Sioux Falls (11/18)...
Freshman (2016)
played in each of MSU's 11 games handling kickoff duties... played key role as MSU finished fourth in NCAA Division II and second in the Lone Star Conference limiting opponents to 14.53 yards per return... Mustangs' special teams posted a 36.7 yard net on kickoffs giving up an average drive start at the (-)28-yard line... recorded touchbacks on 12 of 66 kickoffs (18.2 percent) for a 51.2-yard average... had season-high four touchbacks against UT-Permian Basin (10/29) and two each against Oklahoma Panhandle State (9/24), Western New Mexico (10/1) and West Texas A&M (10/22)...
At Cajon High School
three-year letterwinner as a kicker and punter for coach Nick Rogers at Cajon High School in San Bernardino, Calif... a second team all-league selection that helped the Cowboys to a league championship in 2015... set the school record with a 48-yard field goal... lettered two seasons in soccer as a defender, serving as team captain in 2015... also lettered one season in golf... High Honor Roll student...
