a four-year starter at linebacker and running back for coach Mark Chester at Blue Ridge (Texas) High School... enjoyed stellar four-year, two-way career at BRHS accounting for 258 total tackles on defense and 3,652 all-purpose yards with 32 touchdowns on offense... earned District 9-3A Division II Defensive MVP honors as a senior finishing with 120 tackles including 68 solo stops and four sacks... also rushed for 944 yards on offense with 12 touchdowns t lead Tigers to the regional round of the UIL Texas Class 3A playoffs... earned All-District 9-3A Division II second-team honors as a running back and linebacker as a junior in 2018 leading Blue Ridge to a playoff berth... ran for 1,040 yards with nine touchdowns as a junior in 2018 with 46 tackles on defense... ran for a single season best 1,243 yards with eight touchdowns as a sophomore in 2017... garnered All-District 6-2A Division I honorable mention at linebacker as a freshman in 2016... earned four basketball letters earning All-District 13-2 first-team accolades as a freshman in 2016-17... earned All-Texomaland honors from the Sherman Herald Democrat in 2018 and 2019... earned three letters in track & field as a thrower and 100-meter dash specialist... placed center field in baseball as a senior in 2020... a two-time academic all-district honoree... member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society...
