At Salinas High School

a two-year, two-way starter for coach Steve Goodbody at Salinas (Calif.) High School... earned first-team all-conference honors as a defensive back and running back as a junior and senior... rushed for 731 yards and nine touchdowns to go along with 15 receptions good for two more scores out of the backfield as a senior in 2014...
