Kandin Robertson is in his first season as a student assistant coach at Midwestern State in 2022 and is assisting with the wide receivers.
In his senior year with the Mustangs, Robertson caught 24 passes for 311 yards and three touchdowns. In the season opener at Quincy, Robertson had four receptions for 39 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown, and Midwestern State won the game, 48-27. He also caught a 28-yard touchdown pass in a 35-17 win over No. 17 Angelo State. Robertson had receptions in nine of 10 games for MSU.
Before arriving at Midwestern State, Robertson played two years at Blinn College. Against Scottsdale Community College in the Valley of the Sun Bowl at Scottsdale, Arizona, Robertson capped his sophomore season with eight receptions for 74 yards in a 23-20 victory.
Robertson was a three-year letter winner at Beaumont Legacy Christian School, where he earned first-team TAPPS Division III All-State honors as a junior in 2015. The Warriors reached the state semifinals, and Robertson received TAPPS District 4 first-team accolades.
In 2016 at West Brook High School in Beaumont, Texas, Robertson earned All-District 12-6A first-team honors with 63 receptions for 1,171 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was also a two-time all-district performer in baseball at West Brook.
Robertson is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in sports & leisure
