a four-year starter on the offensive and defensive lines for coach Joe Koch at Paradise (Texas) High School... earned all-district accolades in each of his four prep seasons... a first-team All-District 4-3A Division I performer on the offensive line and at defensive end as a senior in 2020 while leading the Panthers to a 7-4 record and on to the UIL Texas State playoffs for the first time in 12 years... gained first-team all-district accolades on the offensive line and was a second-pick as a defensive lineman as a junior in 2019... a second-team All-District 4-3A Division I selection as a sophomore in 2018 after gaining honorable mention all-district as a frosh in 2017... on the A-B Honor Roll at PHS... earned Agricultural Academic Award...
