Rushmore of area athletes… named Big Country Preps Player of the Year as a senior… Big Country Homepage Player of the Year (KTAB) as a senior… chosen as the Big Country Blitz MVP in his senior season… Big Country Preps Player of the Year as a senior in 2022…earned UIL State Offensive MVP Award… rushed for 151 yards and four touchdowns on 31 carries and also recovered two fumbles in a 51-21 win over Refugio in the state championship game… "This is the best feeling in the world," he told Dave Campbell’s Texas Football after the win. "Coach brought me in as a little-bitty receiver back when I was a freshman. I worked my butt off all four years, and it paid off…" earned 2022 All-State linebacker and running back… All District 1-2A in his senior campaign…first team linebacker and running back as a junior, when the Hawks finished as the state runner-up in 2021…named the District 1-2A Offensive Most Valuable Player as a sophomore in 2020… 2019 All-District 1-2A wide receiver and defensive back… won a district championship all four years in high school, reached fourth round of UIL playoffs as a freshman and third round in his sophomore season…
