** Midwestern State's record while competing as a four-year institution. As Wichita Falls Junior College, the school completed a 12-28-7 record (.330) from 1924-30 then was was 9-2 as Hardin Junior College when football returned in 1946. MSU's combined record as a two- and four-year institution stands at 179-191-13 (.484) in 37 years of competition.
