gained All-Lone Star Conference honorable mention... started all 10 games for the Mustangs at linebacker... closed campaign second on the team with 52 tackles including 27 solo stops, five tackles for loss, a quarterback sack, and two quarterback hurries... also recorded an interception, broke up another pass, and recovered a fumble... logged season-high nine tackles at West Texas A&M (9/16)... made seven tackles with a quarterback sack while forcing a fumble and intercepting a pass against Central Washington (10/14)... made eight stops against Colorado State-Pueblo (9/2) and Eastern New Mexico (9/23)... notched five tackles including two for a loss of yards against Texas A&M-Kingsville (11/11)...
Junior (2022)
competed in each of MSU’s 11 games making eight starts at linebacker… ranked second in the team with 60 tackles including 29 solo tackles, 4 1/2 tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, and two pass breakups… recorded at least seven tackles in six games… registered a season-high nine tackles including one for a loss and a pass breakup in a 41-37 win at Texas A&M-Kingsville (11/5)… made seven tackles and returned an interception for 50 yards in a 26-21 win over Western Oregon (10/29)… recorded seven tackles and was in on a half-sack in a 24-23 win at UT Permian Basin (10/22)… was also in on a sack in a 77-0 win over Simon Fraser (9/24)… recorded eight tackles in the first two games of the season against Colorado State-Pueblo (9/3) and Eastern New Mexico (9/10)… logged seven tackles against West Texas A&M (10/8)…

competed in each of MSU's 10 games as a reserve linebacker... compiled 24 tackles including 12 solo stops and 2.5 tackles for loss... credited with season-high five tackles with a stop for loss at Central Washington (10/2)... made four tackles and was in on a stop for loss against Western New Mexico (10/30)... logged four tackles in a 31-30 win over No. 7 Texas A&M-Commerce at the former Ballpark in Arlington (9/11)... made three tackles including a stop for loss against Texas A&M-Kingsville (10/9)...

a three-year varsity starter as a linebacker for coach Jeff Neill at West Mesquite (Texas) High School... earned All-District 7-5A Division I first-team honors at inside linebacker as a senior in 2018... made 73 tackles including 38 solo stops and nine tackles for loss to go along with four pass breakups and two forced fumbles... named a 2019 National Football Foundation (NFF) Gridiron Club of Dallas High School Scholar-Athlete... made 37 tackles including 22 solo stops with five tackles for loss and two pass breakups as a junior in 2017... named District 15-5A Sophomore MVP at outside linebacker in 2016 making 21 tackles with nine solo stops and one tackle for loss while breaking up four passes and forcing a pair of fumbles... helped Wranglers to the Area round of the UIL Playoffs as a sophomore... also earned two basketball letters...
