At Midwestern State

Senior (2009)

• garnered All-Lone Star Conference honorable mention after starting 12 games at linebacker.
• second on team with 73 tackles including 25 solo stops, seven for loss and 1 1/2 sacks.
• became first MSU player since 2002 to amass 200 tackles and closed career ninth on MSU's all-time tackles list with 215.
• earned LSC South Division Defensive Player of the Week honors after making a career-high 13 tackles and forcing a fumble in a 52-3 win over Northeastern State on Sep. 12, 2009.
• again gained LSC South Defensive Player of the Week accolades after making 10 tackles including four solo and two for a loss in a 15-13 win over Abilene Christian on Nov. 7, 2009.
• also made 10 tackles including 1 1/2 for loss on Sep. 26, 2009 at Angelo State.

Junior (2008)

• started each of MSU's 10 games at linebacker.
• led team with 65 tackles including 20 solo stats, a forced fumble, two quarterback hurries and a pair of pass breakups.
• made season-high 10 tackles (6 solo) at No. 2 Abilene Christian on Nov. 8, 2008.
• had three tackles and broke up two passes at West Texas A&M on Oct. 4, 2008.
• recorded at least five tackles in eight out of 10 games.

Sophomore (2007)

• a second-team All-Lone Star Conference South Division selection after recording 37 tackles (12 solo) with three tackles for loss.
• had a season-high eight tackles against Southwestern Oklahoma State on Sep. 8, 2007.

Honors and Awards

• 2007 All-LSC South Division Second Team

Freshman (2006)

• made 40 tackles including 16 solo stop and 3.5 for loss.
• notched a season-high seven tackles (6 solo) at West Texas A&M on Oct. 7, 2006 then matched the total in MSU’s postseason win over Missouri Western on Nov. 18, 2006.

At Kimball High School

• earned all-district honors as a two-way starter (RB/LB) as a junior and senior for coach Daryl Jordan at Kimball High School in Dallas, Texas.
