appeared in 37 games with 32 starts including 24 at catcher, six at designated player, and two at third base... hit .132 (10-for-76) with a double, a homer, and nine RBIs... went 2-for-4 with a double and drew a bases-loaded walk in a 6-5 win over Eastern New Mexico (4/6)... logged a 2-for-4 performance with a run-scoring single at Western New Mexico (4/21)... drilled a grand slam and drew a bases-loaded walk to force in another run to close out a team season-high of five RBIs in a 7-2 win in the series finale at Western New Mexico (4/22)... registered a .960 season fielding percentage with 90 putouts, 30 assists, and five errors... threw out six would-be base stealers...
Junior (2022)
earned All-Lone Star Conference third-team honors... started each of MSU's 45 games including 24 starts at catcher, 19 at third base and two at designated player... led Mustangs with a .383 batting average... posted 10 doubles, a triple, five homers and 20 RBIs... ranked ninth in the LSC and 105th in NCAA Division II with a .470 on-base percentage... recorded team-high 18 multi-hit games... drove in at least two runs five times... reached base in 37 of 45 games including the last 16 games of the season... hit .471 (16-of-34) with four homers and six RBIs while scoring seven runs during an 11-game hitting streak from March 27-April 22... launched homers in three consecutive games including one in the second game of the doubleheader at Cameron (3/27) and both games of the twin bill against Angelo State (4/1)... drove in season high three runs on a bases clearing triple while going 2-for-3 at Central Oklahoma (3/2)... went 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs in a 16-5 win at Western New Mexico (3/6)... posted a .976 fielding percentage over 167 total chances... threw out eight of 55 potential base stealers...
Sophomore (2021)
competed in 41 games making 31 starts at catcher, six at first base and four at designated player... hit .245 with seven doubles, two homers and 10 RBIs... recorded two-or-more hits in four games... drove in two runs in four games... had season-high three hits with a double and an RBI in a 3-2 win over UT Permian Basin (3/5)... launched two-run homers against Hardin-Simmons (2/23) and Oklahoma Christian (3/26)... scored season-high three runs in second game of the doubleheader against Hardin-Simmons (2/23)... hit .444 (8-for-18) with two doubles and five RBIs during six-game hitting streak from Feb. 27-March 7... recorded a .972 fielding percentage in 181 chances... threw out seven out of 42 runners attempting to steal...
Freshman (2020)1
played in each of MSU's 22 games making 10 starts at first base, seven at catcher and five at third base... hit .348 with four home runs and 15 RBI to become first true freshman to lead the team in home runs and RBI outright since 2013 and 2017, respectively... recorded four doubles and a triple… led the team and finished 23rd in the Lone Star Conference with a .621 slugging percentage… ended the season by hitting a home run in three straight games and four of the last eight… finished tied for 16th in the LSC in home runs… hit .444 (8-for-18) during season opening five-game hitting streak with three multi-hit games… collected two or more hits in a game eight times... belted first collegiate home run, a three-run shot, against Fort Hays State (2/22)… finished 3-for-4 with a solo home run at UT Permian Basin (3/1)… went deep in both games of a twin bill and combined to go 3-for-5 with five RBI vs No. 2 UT Tyler (3/8)... closed the season by recording at least one RBI in five straight games (drove in nine runs during the stretch)... finished the season the same way it started, with a five-game hitting streak...
At Flower Mound High School
a four-year letter winner for coach Mark Larriba at Flower Mound (Texas) High School... tabbed District 6-6A Catcher of the Year as a senior in 2019 helping the Jaguars to UIL playoffs... an All-District 5-6A first-team performer as a junior in 2018 helping FMHS to the regional quarterfinals... named District 5-6A MVP as a sophomore in 2017... played club softball for Texas Glory Adkins and Firecrackers...
