competed in one game during the abbreviated spring campaign as a reserve tight end... made one reception for 27 yards in a 45-34 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville (3/6)... registered two catches for 22 yards including a 6-yard touchdown reception in a 28-14 scrimmage win over Southeastern Oklahoma State (2/27)...

At Windthorst High School

a four-year starter and standout as a tight end, wide receiver, running back and defensive lineman for coach Chris Tackett at Windthorst High School... claimed Times Record News Red River 22 Defensive Player of the Year honors as a senior finishing with 64 tackles, 11 stops for loss, four sacks, three fumble recoveries and two interceptions as a senior in 2019... also gained District 6-2A Division II MVP honors also accounting for 806 yards on 59 receptions with 11 touchdowns as a senior, then moved into the backfield heading into the postseason to account for 300 yards on 40 carries with six touchdowns... earned third-team Texas Sportswriters' Association (TSWA) Class 2A All-State honors as a wide receiver and return specialist in 2019... also gained Associated Press Sports Editors (APSE) Class 2A All State honorable mention in 2019... earned All-District 6-2A first-team honors at wide receiver and on the defensive line as a junior in 2018... accounted for 835 yards on 56 receptions as a junior, while amassing 80 tackles with sacks during junior campaign... earned All-District 5-2A second-team honors as a sophomore in 2017 finishing with 36 catches for 319 yards... multi-sport standout also earned Red River 22 honors and was the District 9-2A MVP as a senior in basketball boasting averages of 16.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and one blocked shot per game in 2019-20... averaged 15.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game over final three prep basketball seasons finishing career with 1,329 points... also competed in the long and triple jumps in track and was a two-year starter in center field in baseball... served as student council representative...
