At Midwestern State

Senior (2009)

• played in nine games as a reserve at defensive end.
• finished season with 15 tackles including four for loss and two sacks while adding two quarterback hurries and two pass breakups.
• made a season-high four tackles with two tackles for loss and a sack during a 34-6 win on Sep. 5 at Southeastern Oklahoma.
• notched a sack in a 52-3 win on Sep. 12 against Northeastern State.
• had three tackles and broke up a pass in a 15-13 victory over Abilene Christian on Nov. 7.

At Illinois State

Junior (2008)

• appeared in nine games and started four at defensive tackle for the Redbirds.
• made 10 tackles including four solo stops and two for loss and a sack.
• had a quarterback hurry and blocked a kick.

At Blinn College

Sophomore (2007)

• played nine games at defensive end while making 26 tackles including 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
• garnered All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference recognition.
• helped Buccaneers to national championship.

Freshman (2006)

• played eight games at defensive end while making 13 tackles including two for loss and a sack for the Southwest Junior College Football Conference champion Buccaneers.

At Little Cypress Mauriceville High School

• a three-year letterwinner and two-year starter at linebacker for coach David Williams at Little Cypress Mauriceville High School in Orange, Texas.
• earned honorable mention all-state honors as a senior in 2004 and was a two-time first-team all-district performer in 2003 and 2004.
• made 128 tackles as a senior in 2004.
• member of the regional qualifying 4x100-meter relay team during the spring of 2005.
• earned three letters in powerlifting, two in track and field and one in baseball during prep career.
• a member of the 2004 Texas State powerlifting team.
