Biography

At Midwestern State

Senior (2011)

  • played in 62 games making 61 starts including 18 at shortstop, 19 at second base, eight in right field, six in left field, eight at designated player and two at first base.
  • hit .323 with five doubles, nine homers and 39 RBIs.
  • named to All-LSC North first team after hitting .349 with three doubles, two homers and nine RBIs as a utility player.
  • smashed her seventh career postseason homer - a two-run shot - agaisnt Texas A&M International i the South Central  Regional on May 13.
  • delivered two-run single against Angelo State on May 15 at the South Central Regional.
  • homered in back-to-back games against Eastern New Mexico and Missouri Southern on Feb. 18 and 20.
  • drove in season-high three runs against Eastern New Mexico on Feb. 18 then against against Abilene Christian on April 1.
  • hit .458 (11-for-24) during season best eight-game hitting streak from Feb. 22 to March 25.
  • presented the MSU Coaches' Award and named the squad's best teammate during MSU's Annual Student-Athlete Awards Banquet.
  • recorded two-or-more hits in 12 games.
  • drove in multiple runs in nine games.

Junior (2010)

  • appeared in 41 games and made 18 starts including nine at catcher, six in left field, two at designated hitter and one at second base.
  • hit .385 with two doubles and four home runs while driving in 15 runs in 52 at bats.
  • went 6-for-10 (.600) with three homers and nine RBIs during the 2010 postseason.
  • connected for home runs in three consecutive at bats in the 2010 NCAA II South Central Super Regionals against Angelo State on May 22 and 23 at Mustangs Park.
  • spent much of the season in a pinch runner role after suffering an arm injury at the Teri Mathis Zenner Memorial on the first weekend of March in Joplin, Mo.
  • served as a pinch runner for in 19 games.
  • smacked a two-run homer while helping the Mustangs to a 10-1 win over Missouri Southern on Feb. 21, 2010.
  • drove in tying run with an infield single in the sixth inning on May 7, 2010 against Central Oklahoma at the LSC Championships in Durant, Okla.
  • recorded two-hit games against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Feb. 6 and versus Western New Mexico on Feb. 19.

Sophomore (2009)

  • appeared in 47 games while making 35 starts at catcher, eight starts in right field, two starts at shortstop and one in left field.
  • hit .220 with two homers and eight RBIs while scoring 17 runs.
  • made just one error in 260 chances for a .996 fielding percentage.
  • had two stolen bases against Washburn (Kan.) in the St. Mary's NCAA Division II Classic on Feb. 5, 2009 in San Antonio.
  • struck for a solo homer against Southwest Baptist (Mo.) on Feb. 21, 2009 and a two-run shot against East Central (Okla.) on March 17, 2009 - both at Mustangs Park.

Freshman (2008)

  • started all but one game as a true freshman after transferring in for the spring semester from Central Arkansas.
  • started 44 games at shortstop, 17 in left field and three at third base.
  • batted .275 with a .371 on-base percentage while slugging .371.
  • accounted for 11 extra base hits including four doubles, two triples and five home runs.
  • slugged first collegiate home run in debut at Incarnate Word on Feb. 1, 2008.
  • went 7-for-10 in Lone Star Conference Tournament which included a streak of five-straight hits and two home runs.
  • went season-best 3-for-3 with a homer against Cameron on May 2, 2008.

At Grapevine High School

  • earned all-district honors in each of her four seasons as a starter for coach Steve Bottoms at Grapevine (Texas) High School where she helped the Mustangs to a pair of playoff appearances.
  • first-team all-district catcher her junior and senior seasons while earning the Grapevine MVP award in 2007.
  • second-team all-district second basemen as a sophomore.
  • earned honorable mention as a right fielder as a frosh in 2004.
