At Amarillo High School

a three-year letter winner and two-year starter for coach Jeff Williams at Amarillo (Texas) High School... helped Sandies to a 37-2 record and a co-district title before advancing to the Region I-5A finals as a senior in 2016-17... earned Texas Association of Basketball Coaches' All-Region I-5A first-team honors as a senior and was a first-team all-district pick... helped Amarillo HIgh to a District 2-6A title and a 32-5 mark as a junior in 2015-16.. earned second-team all-district accolades... part of a Sandies squad that posted a 34-3 mark, claimed a district title and advanced to the regional semifinals as a sophomore in 2014-15...

daughter of Sammy and Danette Simpson... part of a great basketball family legacy as her father, Sammy Simpson, played on Amarillo High's state championship squad of 1986 for her grandfather, Allen Simpson, who was a longtime coach at AHS and was a 2006 Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame inductee...
