competed in each of MSU's 11 games as a reserve cornerback... totaled 13 tackles with nine solo stops... returned two fumbles for 17 yards and forced another... matched season high with three tackles and stripped and returned a fumble for 17 yards at Western Oregon (10/26)... also credited with three tackles against Northwestern State (9/7) and West Texas A&M (11/16)... recovered a fumble in a 70-35 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville (10/19)...

competed in all 10 games as a reserve cornerback... closed season with five tackles... had season high four tackles in collegiate debut -- a 55-12 win over Humboldt State (9/1)... credited with a pass breakup at Texas A&M-Kingsville (10/13)...

At Munday High School

helped lead Munday (Texas) High School to a district championship and Texas UIL Class 2A-II state quarterfinal appearance with a 12-2 record in 2016  playing for coach Pat Corcoran... ran for 712 yards on 71 carries along with 551 receiving yards on 26 receptions for 18 touchdowns... totaled 231 yards on eight kick returns ... recorded 22 tackles along with five interceptions for 104 yards with three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery... earned first-team All-District 7-2A Division II at running back and was a second-team defensive back as a senior in 2016... forced to sit out junior season after transferring from Knox City High to Munday High... a Texas Six-Man Coaches' Association Division I second-team All-Region II pick as a running back competing at Knox City High as a sophomore in 2014... was the District 8-1A Six-Man Newcomer of the Year for Knox City in 2014 and first-team all-district accolades at running back... a state champion in the triple jump...
