a two-year letter winner at wide receiver and punter for coach Greg Winder at Stephenville (Texas) High School... an APSE Class 4A All-State second-team punter as a senior in 2015 earning All-District 3-4A first-team honors on special teams and was a second-team performer at wide receiver... accounted for 37 receptions for 443 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior... gained All-District 3-4A first-team honors at tight end as a junior in 2014 helping the Yellowjackets to a Class 4A-I state quarterfinal showing with a 9-4 record... amassed 38 receptions for 640 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior... a regional qualifier as a multi-event performer in track for coach Craig Kimpte competing in the high jump, long jump, triple jump and 4x400-meter relay... also an all-region performer as a two-year starter at power forward for basketball coach Bill Brooks... a member of the National Honor Society...
