Freshman (2016)

earned All-America honorable mention by the National Junior College Athletic Association... topped the nation racking up 167 tackles including 99 solo stops to help the Rangers to a season ending bowl bid... topped the country averaging 15.2 tackles per game... had most returned interceptions for touchdowns in the NJCAA with two on the season... accounted for 10-or-more tackles in nine games... made career-high 25 tackles including 11 solo stops including a sack and three tackles for loss at Blinn College (9/24)... made 23 tackles the next week while returning an interception 32 yards for a touchdown in a 31-22 win over Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (10/1)... made 19 tackles and made two sacks in a 28-16 victory at New Mexico Military (10/8)... finished with 15 tackles and returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown at Trinity Valley (11/12)... made a career-high 14 solo tackles on his way to 18 total tackles at Trinity Valley (10/22)...

At Elkins High School

a three-year starter at linebacker at Fort Bend Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas... helped Knights to three consecutive UIL postseason appearances... a Collin Street Backer/Texas Sportswriters' Association Class 5A All-State second-team performer as a senior in 2015... finished senior season with 124 tackles including 87 solo stops and 11 tackles for loss with five pass defenses, three forced fumbles and recoveries as well as a blocked punt... named an Associated Press Sports Editors Class 5A All-State first-team performer as a junior in 2014... also earned Collin Street Bakery/TSWA Class 5A All-State honorable mention and was a second-team All-District 23-5A pick as an inside linebacker...
