At Angleton High School

a three-year letterwinner for coach Ryan Roark at Angleton (Texas) High School... earned honorable mention Class 5A All-State from the Associated Press Sports Editors (APSE) as a senior in 2017... the first-team all-district cornerback recorded three interceptions and had two fumble recoveries leading the Wildcats to a Class 5A-I state semifinal showing and a District 27-5A championship with a 13-1 record... also made six receptions for 138 yards and two touchdowns as a receiver in 2017... earned second-team All-District 27-5A accolades following junior season at cornerback... keyed Angleton's run to the Region IV-5A-I area round as district runners-up with a 9-3 mark... made three catches for 102 yards and two touchdowns from the receiver spot... earned All-District 24-5A honorable mention at wide receiver as a sophomore in 2015 finishing with 14 catches for 192 yards as AHS advanced to the state quarterfinals... also enjoyed a stellar prep career in track and field... part of Angleton's 4x100-meter relay squad which finished ninth at the UIL Class 5A State Championship in 2017 and improved to sixth in 2018... 4x100-meter relay team set Region 4-5A record in 2018 with a time of 41.08... a state qualifier on the 4x200-meter team taking fifth as a senior in 2018... a regional qualifier in the 300-meter hurdles as a sophomore... owns PRs of 15.25 in the 110-meter hurdles, 38.94 in the 300-meter hurdles, 22-4 in the long jump and 41-5.5 in the triple jump...
