Senior (2008)

• made 10 starts at linebacker.
• second on team with 63 tackles including 20 solo stops and 2.5 tackles for loss.
• notched at least five tackles in eight games.
• recorded season-best 10 tackles on Sep. 13, 2008 at Northeastern State.
• had nine tackles on Oct. 4, 2008 at West Texas A&M.

Junior (2007)

• earned All-Lone Star Conference South Division honorable mention and was second on the team in tackles with 64 (27 solo).
• had three tackles for loss including 1.5 sacks.
• second on the squad with five pass breakups and recovered a fumble.
• recorded nine tackles against West Texas A&M on Oct. 6, 2007.
• notched nine tackles (five solo) with a sack and pass breakup against Abilene Christian on Nov. 10, 2007.

At Trinity Valley CC

• a 2006 preseason All-America for the Cardinals then finished the season with 69 tackles.
• gained all-Southwest Junior College Conference recognition while helping TVCC to league title in 2005.

At Celina High School

• a first-team all-state pick as a junior and was a two-time first-team District 12-3A selection while starting all four seasons at fullback and linebacker for coach Butch Ford at Celina (Texas) High School where he helped the Bobcats to consecutive Class 2A state titles in 2000 and 2001…
