Senior (2007)

• started 11 games at the linebacker position.
• closed season with 46 tackles including 22 solo stops with 0.5 tackles for loss.
• tallied season-high nine tackles and had a quarterback hurry against Southwestern Oklahoma on Sep. 8, 2007.
• made at least four tackles in seven games.
• recorded interception at Adams State (Colo.) on Aug. 25, 2007.

Junior (2006)

• notched 50 tackles (23 solo) with 1.5 sacks, two pass breakups and recovered a fumble.
• recorded eight tackles in two consecutive games (East Central on Sep. 23, 2006 and Angelo State on Sep. 30, 2006).
• was in on two sacks at Northeastern State on Sep. 16, 2006.

At Blinn College

• earned all-conference recognition after recording 102 tackles for coach Brad Franchione at Blinn College in 2005.

At Yoakum High School

• a multi-sport star at Yoakum (Texas) High School.
• earned all-state honors at linebacker as the defensive captain for coach Jesse Crow’s Region 4-3A champion Bulldogs.
• a three-time All-District 29 selection at eight end and two-time pick at linebacker.
• earned all-district honors as a guard on the hardwood.
• once hit nine 3-pointers in a game.
