At Midwestern State

Senior (2008)

  • earned second-team All-Lone Star Conference North Division honors after starting 62 games at third base.
  • graduated as the program leader in batting average (.367), on-base percentage (.427), games played (238), at bats (736), runs scored (142), hits (270), doubles (46), runs batted in (172) and total bases (396).
  • became Lone Star Conference's all-time RBI leader in final career at bat.
  • led team with .355 average with nine doubles, seven homers and 48 RBIs.
  • perfect on the basepaths as she was successful on 16 stolen base attempts.
  • logged multiple hits in 20 games and drove 2-or-more RBIs 11 times.
  • finished career with 80 multi-hit games.
  • had season-high three hits and drove in four runs at Southwestern Oklahoma on March 1, 2008.

Junior (2007)

  • a first-team NFCA All-South Central Region and a second-team All-Lone Star Conference North Division selection.
  • recorded 74 hits with 13 doubles and eight home runs while driving in 50 RBIs.
  • had a .389 batting average and stole 10 bases.
  • drove in a career-high six runs on consecutive days against Southern Arkansas (Feb. 2, 2006) and Texas Woman’s University (Feb. 3, 2006).
  • had a career-best 15-game hitting from April 6-May 11, 2007 when she hit .396 with three doubles and two homers.
  • struck out the least number of times in all of NCAA Division II with her lone strikeout in 190 at bats coming against Southwestern Oklahoma’s Alex Zukerman on April 28, 2007.
  • named LSC North Division Hitter of the Week three times.
  • earned a spot on her second-straight LSC North All-Academic Team.

Sophomore (2006)

  • earned third-team Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-America honors, was a first-team NFCA All-South Central Region pick and was a second-team LSC North Division selection after hitting .391 with 16 doubles and nine home runs with 42 RBIs.
  • twice honored as the LSC North Hitter of the Week.
  • recorded a program-record 24 multi-hit games.
  • drove in multiple runs on 11 occasions.
  • hit .543 with five doubles and a pair of homers during a 10-game hitting streak from March 5-14, 2006.
  • named to the LSC North All-Academic team.

Freshman (2005)

  • earned first-team NFCA All-South Central Region and All-Lone Star Conference North Division accolades after hitting .326 with eight doubles and two home runs with 32 RBIs in 57 games at designated hitter during her freshman season.
  • was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in collegiate debut against Incarnate Word on Feb. 3, 2005.
  • hit first college home run against Abilene Christian on March 2, 2005.

At Flower Mound High School

  • enjoyed a stellar prep career as a four-year starter for coach Wendy Massey at Flower Mound (Texas) High School where she helped the Jaguars to district titles in 2002 and 2003.
  • an all-state selection as first baseman as a senior in 2004 and was a three-time all district performer, including her freshman season in 2001 as a pitcher.

Kristen, an exercise physiology major and biology minor, is the daughter of Mark and Karen Stonecipher of Flower Mound, Texas… “Stoney” was born May 3, 1986…
