Biography

At Midwestern State

Junior (2007)

  • appeared nine games as a reserve running back.
  • rushed for 289 yards on 48 carries for an average of 6 yards a tote.
  • ran for seven touchdowns including two scores against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Oct. 20, 2007 and versus Abilene Christian on Nov. 10, 2007.
  • finished with a season-high 112 yards on five carries on Sep. 22, 2007 at East Central including a 46-yard TD burst.
  • returned five kicks for 200 yards for a hefty average of 40 yards a return.

At Iowa Central CC

  • ran for 2,080 yards in two seasons at Iowa Central Community College.
  • earned NJCAA All-America honors after leading the Tritons to a Midwest Conference Conference and Region XI titles and a No. 9 national ranking with 1,275 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2006.
  • ran for 805 yards and nine TDs in 2005.
  • rushed for season high of 190 yards on 44 carries with two touchdowns against Harper CC in 2006.

At Mesquite High School

  • earned second-team all-district honors as a senior after serving as a three-year starter at running back for coach Steve Halpin at Mesquite (Texas) High School where he helped the Skeeters to a regional semifinal appearance.
  • ran for a prep-high 183 yards and four scores against South Garland HS as a senior.
