Redshirt Freshman (2016)
competed in 10 games making one start at mike linebacker... closed season with 16 tackles, eight solo stops, two tackles for loss and two pass breakups... posted season-high five tackles including 1.5 tackles for loss at West Texas A&M (10/22)... had three tackles and was in on a stop for loss in a 76-21 rout of UT-Permian Basin (10/29)... recorded pass breakups in back-to-back games at Texas A&M-Commerce (10/8) and Angelo State (10/15)...

a two-year starter for coach Mel Maxfield at Amarillo (Texas) High School... named to 2014 Amarillo Globe News Football Super Team as the District 2-6A Defensive Player of the Year finishing his senior season with 101 tackles... led Sandies to a 10-2 record advancing to the Region I-6A Division I area round as a senior in 2014... a Texas High School Coaches' Association All-State football academic honorable mention selection as a senior... also earned two letters competing in the hurdles in track & field... a member of the National Honor Society...
