Redshirt Freshman (2009)

• played in 11 games as a reserve linebacker.
• finished season with 35 tackles and tallied two pass breakups.
• made season-high nine tackles with two pass breakups in a 31-19 win over West Texas A&M on Oct. 3.
• had five tackles in a 50-17 victory on Oct. 31 at Eastern New Mexico.

Freshman (2008)

• served redshirt season.

At Rider High School

• earned first-team All-District 5-4A at linebacker for coach Scott Ponder at Rider High School.
• helped the Raiders to a 12-2 season and were Region 1-4A finalist.
• named the Times Record News Red River 22 Defensive MVP as a senior in 2007.
• earned Academic All-State honors.
• a member of the Rider High School State Championship soccer team in 2007 and was named Class 4A State Tournament MVP.
