- also prepped as a linebacker throughout the season.

At Cisco College

- rushed for 108 yards on 20 carries with a touchdown as a sophomore for the Wranglers of coach Scott Taylor.

- named to the Associated Press Sports Editors Class 4A All-State team as an honorable mention at running back as a sophomore in 2005 for coach Leonard McAngus at Justin ( Texas) Northwest High School.
- selected the District 5-5A Special Teams MVP as a senior in 2007 and first-team All-District 5-5A at running back both as a junior and senior for the Texans.
- chosen the District 9-4A Offensive Newcomer and first-team performer as a sophomore in 2005.

- ran for 1,300 yards with 13 touchdowns as a junior, while grabbing six receptions for 92 yards.
