Senior (2013)
- on the Marshall roster to start season, and left the program in September.
- did not appear in a game.

Junior (2012)
- appeared in three games after missing most of the first part of the season due to injury.
- recorded four tackles for the Thundering Herd in three games.

At Blinn College

Sophomore (2011)
- played in eight games for coach Ronnie Feldman at Blinn JC.
- tallied 15 total tackles (seven solos) to go with a sack (-3 yards).
- recovered a fumble and returned it three yards for a touchdown.
- helped the Buccaneers to a 9-2 record and the SWJCFC Regular Season Championship.  Lost in Mississippi Bowl.

Redshirt Freshman (2010)
- played in eight games as a defensive tackle at BC.
- posted 16 tackles (seven solo).
- recorded two tackles for losses (-6 yards), including one quarterback sack.
- recovered two fumbles, forced one and broke up three passes.
- helped Blinn to an 8-3 season record including a 31-27 win over Arizona Western in the CHAMPS Heart of Texas Bowl.

Freshman (2009)
- served redshirt season at Blinn.


At Copperas Cove High School

- played junior varsity football as a senior for coach Jack Welch.
- born in Germany to American parents (father is an Army veteran) and moved to the U.S. late in junior year of high school.  Ultimately ruled ineligible to play varsity athletics by the UIL.
- served his senior year as a key member of the scout team for the Dawgs.
