• appeared in 29 games and made eight starts at catcher.
• hit .280 with two doubles, two homers and 10 RBIs.
• delivered run-scoring single in first collegiate at bat against Abilene Christian on Feb. 7, 2009 in the St. Mary's Division II Classic.
• connected on first collegiate home run - a three-run blast to left field - against Southwest Baptist (Mo.) on Feb. 21, 2009 in the MSU Invitational.
• went 2-for-3 in first career start against Lincoln (Mo.) on Feb. 21, 2009.
• had pinch-hit, three-run double against East Central (Okla.) on March 17, 2009.
• was 2-for-7 (.286) in pinch hitting situations with a double and 3 RBIs.

At Crawford High School

• a two-time Class 2A All-State selection as a four-year starter at catcher for coach Kirk Allen at Crawford (Texas) High School.
• a four-time All-District 21-A and Super CenTexas selection.
• earned District 21-A Defensive MVP honors on two occaisions and was a the league's Offensive MVP in another season.
• District 21-A Newcomer of the Year as a freshman in 2005.
• a three-year starter at left-side hitter and middle blocker in volleyball.
• a three-year starter at post in basketball.
• competed in shot and discus during track and field season as a junior and senior.
• served as a cheerleader.
• a member of the Beta Club.
