At Midwestern State

Junior (2013)

- played in eight games, starting five at tight end for the Mustangs.
- hampered by a preseason injury and missed first two games completely, played sparingly against Texas A&M-Commerce.
- is a true threat to catch the ball as well as an outstanding blocker.
- Mustangs second-leading receiver by catches with 16 and third-leader with 202 yards on the season, including a touchdown catch.
- had his best-ever game in the season finale against No. 25 West Texas A&M with seven receptions for 117 yards, including a season-long 31-yard grab from Shavodrick Beaver.
- collected two passes against McMurry (both in the first quarter), including his only TD of the season on a 10-yard toss from Beaver.
- caught three passes against No. 8 West Alabama for 42 yards in the MSU 45-21 Homecoming win.

Sophomore (2012)
- started three of four games played at tight end for the Mustangs.
- preseason injury forced him to miss the first seven games of the season, making season debut on Oct. 27, 2012 as a starter against Eastern New Mexico.
- didn't start against West Georgia when Mustangs used a no tight end set.
- caught five passes in four games for 79 yards (a 15.8 yards per reception average) with a touchdown.
- caught two passes for 48 yards against Eastern New Mexico, including his career-long of 27 yards.
- hauled in three passes on Nov. 3, 2012 in the Mustangs Lone Star Conference Championship clinching win at No. 12 West Texas A&M for 31 yards, including a 20-yard fourth quarter touchdown from Brandon Kelsey.
- used in a blocking role for the Mustangs 470 yard rushing game against West Georgia on Nov. 10, 2012, the second-best rushing game in school history.

Redshirt Freshman (2011)
-started nine of the 11 games played for the Mustangs.
-selected as an honorable mention All-Lone Star Conference at tight end.
-used primarily as a blocker in the Mustangs offensive scheme.
-caught four passes for 54 yards with a 13.5 yards per reception average.
-his first reception was a 25-yard pass at Incarnate Word on Oct. 1, 2011, the longest of the season.

-served redshirt season.


At Rider High School

-a three-year starter at defensive end for coach Scott Ponder at Rider High School in Wichita Falls, Texas.
-named to Wichita Falls Times Record News Red River 22 as the Raider's most consistent performer on the defensive line as a senior in 2009.
-named second-team All-District 5-4A after senior season.
