earned honorable mention All-Lone Star Conference honors after starting each of MSU's 12 games at linebacker...  third on the team with 79 tackles including 30 solo stops, 3.5 tackles for loss, a sack, two interceptions, a fumble recovery, a forced fumble and a quarterback hurry... posted at least five tackes in eight games... notched a career-high 13 tackles in a 49-41 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville (10/31)... returned an interception 77 yards on the opening drive with Angelo State in the red zone to help MSU to a 29-20 win over the sixth-ranked Rams (10/3)... had eight tackes and a sack in a 26-21 win over Eastern New Mexico in the opening round of the LSC playoffs (11/7)... made nine tackles and forced a fumble in a 37-33 win over Texas A&M-Commerce in the LSC playoff title game (11/14)... finished eight tackles and intercepted a pass in a 16-13 overtime win at Colorado Mesa (9/12)...

Sophomore (2014)
played in 10 games making two starts at linebacker... finished third on the team with 63 tackles including 17 solo stops with six tackles for loss and one sack... accounted for one pass breakup and four quarterback hurries... made at least five tackles in nine of 10 games... had season-high 10 tackles against Angelo State (10/4)... made eight tackles including lone sack of the season at West Texas A&M (10/11)... made five stops in first collegiate start at Angelo State in the opening round of the LSC Playoffs (11/8)... recorded tackles for loss in eight of MSU's 10 games...

Redshirt Freshman (2013)
played in five games for the Mustangs in the secondary and on special teams... started at rover in his first collegiate game, the Lone Star Football Festival at AT&T Stadium against Tarleton State... recorded six tackles on the season, with one tackle for loss for -1 yard... tallied three solo tackles against Menlo (Calif.), including a tackle for loss... posted two assisted stops against Tarleton State... part of a secondary that helped MSU lead the Lone Star Conference and rank 20th in NCAA II in pass efficiency defense (109.33 rating), and led the LSC and rank 25th nationally in passing yards allowed (188.5 yards per game)...

At Cedar Park High School
a Texas Class 4A All-State honorable mention and first-team All-District 25-4A selection as a junior for coach Chris Ross at Cedar Park High... was also a first-team all-district selection as a senior... recorded 128 tackles including 18 tackles for loss and six sacks as a senior with two interceptions and three forced fumbles... chalked up 117 tackles with 15 TFL and three sacks as a junior... helped the Timberwolves to an area championship as a senior and a regional title as a junior... also a three-year letterman in wrestling...
