- played in three games for the Mustangs.
- saw action against Texas A&M-Kingsville, McMurry and Menlo (Calif.), all at Memorial Stadium.

- served as a squad member, seeing limited playing time.
- played against West Georgia.

Freshman (2011)
- served redshirt season.

At Coronado High School
- earned All-District 2-5A first-team honors as a junior and senior in 2009 and 2010 as a two-way standout for coach Butch Henderson at Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas.
- led district with 66 receptions for 781 yards and 11 touchdowns at the wide receiver position while posting 88 tackles including 20 solo stops with two interceptions, two pass breakups and a forced fumble as a defensive back.
- named to All-South Plains Area 5A-4A team at wide receiver by the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal and was a first-team All-City pick on offense and defense in 2010.
- caught 72 passes for 548 yards and five touchdowns as a junior in 2009 to earn Lubbock Avalanche-Journal's Area 5A-4A first-team as a receiver and was a second-team All-City selection.
- member of the National Honor Society.
